Mugaritz restaurant sets cooking trends and kitchen electrical appliances

Although the restaurant is located in Gipuzkoa, an experimental espace has been inuagurated at the Bizkaia Technology Park in Derio.

The AZTI-Tecnalia technological centre, the Mugaritz restaurant (Errenteria, next to the Basque city of Donostia - San Sebastian), whose manager is Andoni Luis Aduriz and the De Dietrich household electrical appliances company&' || 'nbsp; (who also works with Ferran Adriá, manager of El Bulli) have signed a joint agreement to create a space for the restaurant sector and the food industry, involving the development of new culinary technologies, the design of new electrical appliances, the validation of new equipment and top-level training.

With the goal of generating innovative proposals, the joint working framework is to develop and install a demonstration kitchen, a unique space designed for the inspiration which will be enabled by the synergies from the three bodies coming together, and which will act as a medium for the generation of ideas. This experimental space for the gastronomy sector, located at the recently inaugurated AZTI-Tecnalia Centre in the Bizkaia Technology Park (Derio), will be in full operation within months.

The joint agreement is for three years and will involve an investment of more than 3 million euros over this period.
