Three pieces of research from researchers at the Public University of Navarre (UPNA) were chosen for the international congress on artificial intelligence, to be held on 16, 17 and 18 of September in&' || 'nbsp;Pamplona-Iruña. This congress, organised by the Artificial Intelligence research team at UPNA and supported by the Ministry of Education, will be held in the capital of Navarre, bringing together the 80 most important researchers in artificial intelligence in three daily sessions; the principle scientific advances in this field will be analysed.

The selection of the three projects drawn up by UPNA has an even greater importance given that, at this congress, known as Eurofuse 2009 Preference Modelling and Decision Analysis, more than one hundred projects have been presented. The usual figure for the number of research projects accepted at this type of event is thirty, although in this case it was decided to raise the figure to 38, given the high numbers of investigations presented.
