No runners gored at Pamplona's running of bulls, just bruises

Three runners were taken to hospitals after the penultimate Pamplona bull-running, but all were bruised and not seriously injured.

Three runners were taken to Pamplona hospitals after Monday''s running of the bulls, due to bruises. No one was gored.

According to the information provided by the Hospital of Navarre, a 26-year old man from Palazuelos de Ledesma (Segovia) who had been wounded in the arm was taken there after being trampled by bulls near to the Town Hall of Pamplona/Iruña.

The same hospital treated a 29-year old man, born in Logroño (La Rioja), with facial and chest trauma, his prognosis "reserved."

The third injured, a 35-year old man from Leganés (Madrid), was taken to Virgen del Camino hospital with a lumbar contusion after being trampled.
