15 Basque chefs to participate at 'Madrid Fusión' congress

The culinary event will take place from 26th to 28th January 2010 at the 'Campo de las Naciones' Municipal Congress Palace in Madrid.

Madrid Fusión will be held in Madrid during the last week of January, 2010, and will count on chefs such as Ferrán Adriá, Basques Juan Mari Arzak and Martín Berasategi, and Sergi Arola. Anyway, 15 Basque cooks will be present at the gastronomic event.

Iñaki Aizpitarte, Hilario Arbelaitz, Juan Mari and Elena Arzak, Eneko Atxa, Aitor Basabe, Martin Berasategi, Aitor Elizegi, Iñigo Lavado, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Koldo Rodero, Mikel Santamaria, Pedro Subijana, Juan Antonio Zaldua and Mikel Zeberio will show the quality of Basque cuisine.

The fair will take place from 26th to 28th January 2010 at the Campo de las Naciones Municipal Congress Palace in Madrid. It will be divided in different workshops devoted to Trends, Creativity, New Talents, Eco-cuisine and Gastroeconomy.

The Repsol guide will be paid a tribute during the upcoming edition of the event due to "its great contribution to the promotion of tourism and gastronomy" in Spain.

There will be another event parallel to the upcoming Madrid Fusión fair: the First International Meeting of Mixology, a space for refreshments and all kind of drinks where the most important European barmans of Europe will be showing their skills.
