Mirza Teletovic scored 26 points, including five three-pointers, to lead Caja Laboral to a 73-66 homewin over Cajasol on Sunday evening in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Tiago Splitter added 11 points and Stanko Barac and Pau Ribas had 10 each.

For Cajasol, Calloway scored 16 points and Savanovic and Miso added 11 each.

The game was hard-fought and both teams were tied at 18 points at the end of the first 10 minutes. The second quarter was almost as close as the first one and the Basques led 40-39 at half-time.

Both teams worked well in defense in the third quarter but Caja Laboral extended their lead to 5 points, 54-49. The guests were always in touch during the last quarter and trailed by two points with just 30 seconds left to play, 68-66.

However, Cajasol failed to score while the Basques scored three free throws and Teletovic added a two-pointer to see the Basques’ way to victory.
