Lady Gaga joined Dr. Dre at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Thursday (07JAN10) to launch a new line of headphones with proceeds helping to fight AIDS in Africa.

The Red headphones came about after a conversation with Bono at the Vevo launch party in December.

"All the money that RED will make off these headphones will go directly to helping people who are affected by the AIDS epidemic in Africa."

Lady Gaga was also proud to put her own touch on it.

“There will be a red heartbeat."

She will also include a special version of her hit song, ''Poker Face''.

In addition to working with Red, Gaga also announced a new partnership with Polaroid to bring back the instant camera. But she insists its strictly for her artistic vision.

"I''m hired solely as the creative director."

Catch Lady Gaga next month at the Grammy Awards, where she is up for five awards.
