Wines of Navarran Guarantee of Origin will be the main attractions at this year''s Navarre Week in the US. The event is being held in two places, New York and Washington, between February 6th and 14th. The slogan of this 10th edition of the US-based celebration is "Colour New York with Navarran red". Fourteen wineries, or bodegas, of Navarran origin are taking part in the campaign: Bodegas and Viñedos Alzania, Bodegas Artajona, Bodegas Camino Castilla, Bodegas Castillo de Monjardin, Bodegas Chivite, Bodegas Campos de Enanzo, Bodega Inurrieta, Bodegas Ochoa, Bodega Otazu, Bodegas Pago de Larrainzar, Bodegas Príncipe de Viana, Bodega de Sarría, Bodegas 1877 and wines from Earth 3.0 and Casita Mami. All the wines will feature on the menus of the more than twenty restaurants taking part in the initiative located in both NY and the US capital.

The USA''s Navarre Week increases its activities every year. The president of the Regulating Council of the Navarre''s Guarantee of Origin, Pilar García Granero, and wine expert Ana Laguna will offer various presentation seminars about Navarre, and a number of wine-tasting sessions will be held by each of the bodegas, with the possibility accompanying them with entrées, tapas of typical Navarran foods such as Roncal or Idiazabal cheese. To top off proceedings, all participating wines will form part of the Washington DC International Wine and Food Festival.
