Tickets for the AC/DC concert at the Basque city of Bilbao will go on sale next April 22nd, Live Nation announced on Friday on its website.

According to the live entertainment company, tickets will go on sale at 10:00 in the morning and will be available to buy at the box office and on the Internet.

Organizers of the event Last Tour International have not announced yet the precise date or confirmed the announce by Live Nation.

The concert will be held at Athletic Bilbao''s San Mamés stadium, just fourteen months after the band performed at the Bizkaia Arena in April 2009. On that occasion, all tickets for the event sold out in a question of minutes.

Organizers behind the event revealed that 20,000 tickets will be available to buy at the box office (more than half the total number of tickets) in order to avoid the problems caused by the number of on-line sales made last year; the rest will eventually be available to buy on-line, though the exact number is not yet known.

The release last year of their album Black Ice marked the return of the band, which has sold more then 200 million records worldwide. AC/DC were formed in Sydney, Australia, 35 years ago by guitarists Angus and Malcolm Young, bassist Cliff Williams, drummer Phil Rudde and singer Brian Johnson, who took over from the original vocalist Bon Scott.
