Giant 15 kilo meatball cooked in Andoain

The Goiburu farmhouse cooked the giant piece of meat to advertise the launch of their newest product: Duck a l'Orange meatballs.

The Goiburu farmhouse in the Basque town of Andoain, famous for breeding ducks, has achieved a first with its latest recipe - a 15 kilo (33 pound) meatball made from duck meat.

The farmhouse label decided to cook the tasty meat treat to advertise the launch of their latest product, the Duck a l’Orange meatball.

According to Luis Tello at Goiburu, the meatball was made with “a lot of love and care” and stewed for five hours in its sauce to make sure it was cooked all the way through.
