It is almost impossible to reach the original spirit of the mythical Californian band The Doors, although the original duo formed by the outstanding musicians Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, organist and guitarist respectively, have been trying it at least for the last three years.

They are performing old works by The Doors on Thursday April 28 at the Rock Star Live concert hall, located next to Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Barakaldo, Biscay, at 9.00 pm.

Jim Morrison''s substitute is now Brett Scallions, former lead vocalist of the band Fuel. Ty Dennis, whose various musical influences enable him to play different styles, ranging from rock or pop to pure jazz, is the new drummer, while Phil Chen, one of the most demanded session bassists during the ''70s and ''80s and former member of the ''60s band Jimmy James and the Vagabonds, will be also accompanying the new group.

Tickets cost 16 / 20 euro.
