The Guggenheim Bilbao Museum was awarded the prize for Best Private Entity at the International Protocol Awards as part of the specialized Congress which is being held in Bilbao and that finishes on Sunday, November 22.

The organization awarded the Basque gallery for "its contribution as a generator of events in its installations, combining cutting edge architectural design with spaces in which organising an event assures an unique experience," the jury said.

These days, the Guggenheim museum has reasons to celebrate its fortune because it has been doubly awarded: the Industry Ministry gave the museum another prize awarding the design of its website, which, according to the jury, "is one of the best of the last 20 years."

The contest was organised by Red.es and commemorated the 20th anniversary of the domain. Other web pages awarded were Coca-Cola and El Mundo newspaper sites.
