Kiss to play Vitoria-Gasteiz's Azkena Rock Festival 2010

The band will perform on June 25th in the Basque Country's capital. Director J. Bajo Ulloa will be filming a documentary focused on the 10th anniversary of the festival, which is to be held in 2011.

Kiss will be present at the Azkena Rock Festival 2010, both promoter Last Tour International and the band revealed on Monday.

The show by Paul Stanley (vocals and rhythm guitar), Gene Simmons (vocals and bass guitar), Ace Frehley (lead guitar and vocals), and Peter Criss (drums, percussion and vocals) will arrive in Vitoria-Gasteiz on June 25th. Tickets will be available from Friday, November 27, onwards.

Kiss have sold more than 20 million albums in the United States and more than 100 million abroad. Besides, the band has released more than twenty-four gold albums.

A documentary by Basque renowned&' || 'nbsp; filmmaker&' || 'nbsp; Juanma Bajo Ulloa --focused on the festival-- will mark the 10th anniversary of the event, which will take place in 2011. However, the movie is not the only project to celebrate the long life of the main rock party in the Basque Country. A book with multiple pictures and festival memorabilia will collect the highlights of a decade of music at the premises of Mendizabala in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Fans of the Azkena Rock Festival are expected to contribute to the book with photographs and footage of the first editions of the encounter. There will be a prize draw for merchandising and 5 VIP passes --accommodation included-- for the edition of 2011 among those supporting the initiative.
