French singer Benjamin Biolay, mezzosoprano&' || 'nbsp; Cecilia Bartoli and tap dancer Savion Glover --considered the best in the world-- will be paying a visit to the Basque city of Donostia-San Sebastián. They will be performing at Kursaal concert hall and congress centre throughout the year 2010.

Gipuzkoa''s county councillor for Culture María Jesús Aramburu and his counterpart at the city town hall Denis Itxaso, together with Iker Goikoetxea, who is in charge of the Kursaal Foundation, announced a preview of the performances planned from February to June 2010.

Benjamin Biolay, whose concert is scheduled for May 12th, is a successful singer-songwriter who has been often compared to the legendary Serge Gainsbourg, while Italian concert singer Cecilia Bartoli (April 8th) is best-known for her Mozart and Rossini roles as well as for her performances of lesser-known Baroque music. North American actor, tap dancer and choreographer Savion Glover is a renowned specialist in the quickstep and will perform in Donostia-San Sebastián on June 1st.

There are 35 shows scheduled for 2010, 11 less than the previous year, due to a 10% reduction of institutional contributions. Officials said the Kursaal Foundation is closing its fiscal year with a ''''balanced budget'''' after having increased the audience with respect to 2008.
