Bob Dylan will close Azkena Rock Festival 2010

Chris Isaak, The Hives and Bad Religion's performances will be the perfect finale to the 9th edition of Azkena Rock Festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Azkena Rock Festival 2010 comes to an end on Saturday night. A total of 11 bands will take to the two main stages of Azkena''s Mendizabala venue on the third and final day of the Rock Festival, which opens its doors at 4pm.

El Vez, Elvis Presley and Kiss'' impersonator will display his show on Saturday 26th and Belgian The Experimental Tropic Blues Band will be performing on Sunday 27th. All the concerts will take place at 13.30 h. at the Virgen Blanca Square in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Concerts will kick off at 4.20pm with the Basque band from Gernika&' || 'nbsp; Audience bringing us country, rock and pop rhythms. Maggot Brain will play the Doug Fieger stage followed by The Cubical, with their music from the 60''s brought from Liverpool.

The first concert being played on the Alex Chilton stage will come from The Russian Roulettes at 17,40 with a concert based on rock &' || 'amp; roll. Soloist Robert Gordon will be next up with his primitive rock of the 50’s music.

Bob Dylan will close Azkena Rock Festival 2010 and will be performing on the Alex Chilton stage at 21,00. Bob Dylan is an American singer-songwriter and musician. He has been a major figure in popular music for five decades. Much of his most celebrated work dates from the 1960s when he was at first an informal chronicler, and later an apparently reluctant figurehead of social unrest.

Azkena Rock Festival 2010 concerts will end with the singer, actor and musician Chris Isaac, the bands The Hives and Bad Religion.

Anyone hoping to stay out after the concerts end can see in the dawn to the sounds of DJ Nash and DJ Pegatas, who''ll be in the Doug Fieger and Buddy Holly tents. Also playing in the Basque capital will be Roger Estrada and T&' || 'amp;T.

More than 17,000 people

According to the information provided by the organization, more than 17,000 people attended the festival on its second day at Mendizabala. Sundown had special guests: The Saints, Slash and veteran Australian rock band Kiss.

Ex-Guns n Roses guitarist Slash was at this year''s Azkena to present his latest disc Slash (2010) with vocals from Myles Kennedy. Kiss took to the stage after midnight where they introduced tracks from their latest album, Sonic Boom.
