"Zer gara gu, nor gara gu", a question and answer card game about Basque culture will be back in stores in time for Christmas, creator Gotzon Barrueta confirmed earlier this week.

"Zer gara gu, nor gara gu", which means "What are we, who are we?," is a question and answer card game about Basque culture that aims to fill a gap in the market of Basque children's games. It targets children, adolescents and Basque language-learners and covers a wide range of subjects including geography, gastronomy, sports, traditions, painting, music and literature.

The game box comes with four sets of 54 cards each, six counters and a board, though the game can also be played using only the cards.

The first edition of the game hit stores December 2010 but sold out just few days before Christmas. In order to launch the game's second edition, Gotzon Barrueta received support from the County Councils of Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, as well as the publishing company Elkar.

It costs 26.90 Euros and can be purchased via the website of the publishing company Elkar. To contact the creator Gotzon Barrueta, you can do so via email: barrueta_gotzon@eitb.com
