Divinamadonna, a community page about Madonna, published on Monday the first photographs of the pop diva together with the Basque trio Kalakan on stage ahead of a world tour that kicks off in Tel Aviv this week.

The Pop Queen and the Basque trio Kalakan have been working together to create a new revisited version of Madonna's hit song "Open your Heart", reported on Friday.

Madonna's new version of "Open Your Heart" will feature "Sagarra Jo" by Kalakan and will be featured on the setlist for the upcoming MDNA Tour.

According to the Madonnarama fansite, back in August 2011, Madonna took a long holiday in the south-west of France and visited different locations in the Basque Country.

When visiting Guéthary, Madonna met Basque trio Kalakan who played for her during an intimate birthday gig with friends and family. They got introduced by the Labèque sisters, whom Madonna refers to as her "favourite pianists in the whole world" in the "I'm going to tell you a secret" documentary.

"Queen Esther"

The pop diva arrived in the holy land last week. The Material girl's motorcade entered the Tel Aviv Dan hotel parking lot Friday as guards shielded the superstar from the media.

Madonna isn't Jewish but she has adopted the Hebrew name of Esther and studies Jewish mysticism. She is known here as "Queen Esther" and Israeli media announced that "the Queen has arrived."

Madonna is expected to visit holy sites in Israel ahead of her "MDNA" world tour that will kick off May 31 in Tel Aviv.
