Blue Öyster Cult, Dropkick Murphys, Twisted Sister and Status Quo are just some of the acts playing at this year's Azkena Rock Festival.

The eleventh edition of the Azkena Rock Festival kicks off at 18:00 EST this evening, with one of its biggest acts. British legend rock band Status Quo will take to the Levon Helm stage at around 22:25. Before Si Craunston, Blue Öyster Cult and Twisted Sister will offer performances on the first day at Mendizabala. Pentagram and Dropkick Murphys will follow Status Quo on the same stage.
There will be more concerts on Thursday on Stage 3 (Robin Gibb). The evening's entertainment will open with Dr Maha’s Miracle Tonic followed by Israel Nash Gripka, Graveyard, Steel Panther and Porco Bravo.
Other bands to play at this year's event include The Mars Volta, Twisted Sister, M. Ward, Rich Robinson, Dick Brave And The Backbeats, Black Label Society, The Darkness, My Morning Jacket and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Single day tickets for the 14th can be bought for 38 euros (plus distribution costs). Single day tickets for the 15th or 16th can be bought for 48 euros (plus distribution costs).
