How much impact will the social media phenomenon have sports? Many famous sportsmen have adopted twitter as a means to get in touch with their fans. They no longer need to attend a press conference or to talk to a reporter to announce something. They do it wherever and whenever they want by updating their twitter status.

However, Mexico's Jaguares de Chiapas soccer players have taken a step forward and have included their twitter user's names on their soccer jerseys. They have also included @CervezaSol, their main sponsor, and twitter's characteristic bird, just the day they played their archrival Pumas Club Universidad Nacional AC.
