Bizkaia Bilbao Basket defeated Gran Canaria 75-65 on Tuesday evening in a game that was postponed due to the Eurocup final four but fell short of the 20 points they needed to keep their chances of making it to the playoffs for the ACB championship.

Janis Blums led the winners with 21 points. Moiso added 12 and Mumbru had 11. For Gran Canaria 2014, Carroll had 15 points and Augustine added 10.

The Basques bossed the first two quarters and led 21-12 at the end of the first ten minutes and 41-27 at half-time.

Gran Canaria reacted in the third quarter and cut the deficit to 5 points, 52-47. Bizkaia Bilbao basket regained control of the game again but fell short of the 20 points they needed.
