Athletic Club Bilbao has agreed to sign Basque midfielder Igor Martinez from Alaves, the website of the Bizkaian soccer team confirmed on Tuesday.

The former Alaves midfielder, 21 years old, will sign a three-year deal and will first join the youth ranks of the Bizkaian team, in the same way as his former team-mate Oscar de Marcos did last season.

The Basque club paid Alaves 250.000 euro.
