Team Kaiku currently hold one of the tightest leads in history, though predecessors have shown that victories can be won on less.

Comments

The 1.42 second lead that team Kaiku achieved over main rivals Urdaibai in the first regatta of the Concha Flag could represent a huge advantage, despite being small. History proves that comebacks are rare, with barely more that a dozen being recorded over the years. Furthermore, on seven occasions a less-than-two second advantage has been enough to win!
