Thirty-one crews, seven of them female, will take part this 2nd and 9th September in the Concha Flag, a traditional regatta held every year in San Sebastian.

The competition includes two qualifying heats in which the teams will take part on the afternoon of Thursday 30th August.

Twenty-four male crews will compete for seven available places in two separate legs of four boats each. to be held on Sunday 2nd and 9th September. The boat representing Donostia-San Sebastian qualifies automatically.

The female Concha Flag competition, which celebrates its fifth edition this year, will include seven teams whose qualifying heat, from which only four can go on to the final. The four qualifying teams will then compete in one single leg but on both days (the 2nd and 9th).

Winners in the male trial, a race which covers 3 nautical miles, will share prize money of up to 81,000 euros. Female rowers, who will row over a distance to 1.5 nautical miles, will compete for shared prize money of 23,700 euros.
