Orange sky as sandstorm hits northern China

China's capital woke up to orange-tinted skies on Saturday as the strongest sandstorm of the year hit the northern part of the country. In the heart of Beijing, at Tiananmen Square, clouds of orange dust could be seen blowing. Tourists and visitors photographing the iconic portrait of Mao Zedong wore face masks to protect their lungs from the dust.
