Bono (vocals and rhythm guitar), The Edge (guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen, Jr. (drums and percussion), of U2 will return to Donostia-San Sebastián on 26 September 2010.
It will be their second concert in 5 years in the capital of Gipuzkoa, given that the Irish band already visited the Anoeta football stadium in August 2005, when 40,000 fans attended the event.
The U2 360º Tour kicked off in Barcelona last June. Since then, U2 have been travelling around the world playing to crowded stadiums. Another gig is planned for Seville on September 29.
The tickets for concert, which was officially confirmed on Tuesday, will be on sale from Tuesday, December 1st onwards.
The seat tickets cost 150, 95 and 30 euros, while the rest have a price of 55. There is also a limited number of tickets for the so-called Red Zone which cost 250 euros.
These prices do not include distribution costs. The organisation will only sell a maximum of 8 tickets per person through Ticketmaster.
After analysing several technical facts of the venue, it has been decided that the stadium could cope with more fans, so the allowed capacity is increasing from 40,000 to 45,000.
