The alleged ETA member Zuhaitz Errasti, arrested in France on Monday following the failure of the car he was driving, was transferred on Thursday from Lyon to Paris, where he is expected to be questioned before going to court.
Errasti must be brought before a judge on Friday. At the time of his arrest in the town of Vienne, in the French department of Isère, which took place on Monday, the police seized about thirty kilos of aluminum powder --a component of the explosive ammonal-- in the vehicle he was driving.
Agents also found several sets of plates and material to make false ones in his car, as well as sleeping bags and clothes for men and women.
The Spanish National Court last year issued an order of search and arrest for Errasti given that he failed to appear before the court that was judging him for a crime of praising terrorism after making graffiti supporting ETA.
