Eight members of Segi convicted for belonging to ETA

The judge has imposed them six years of imprisonment due to the fact that they were involved in actions of street violence in the area of Lea-Artibai, Biscay.

Eight members of the illegal organization  Segi were sentenced to six years of imprisonment for a crime of belonging to the Basque armed group ETA after considering that they were involved in actions of street violence in the region of Lea-Artibai in Biscay.

Those sentenced are Estebe Gandiaga, Urko Pagoaga, Ainhoa Pagoaga, Iban Etxebarria, Borja Oregui, Zaloa Zenarrutzabeitia, Eneko Etxaburu and Eneko Ostolaza. They were accused of being part of a violent group operating in Markina-Xemein, a municipality of the Lea-Artibai area, at least for two years.
