Spanish Civil Guard arrested Pedro Mari Olano Zabala last night in Lizartza (Gipuzkoa, Basque Country) on suspicion of being involved in the transport of explosives for the terrorist group ETA, according to anti-terrorist sources.
Olano Zabala was condemned to a two year sentence after threatening to kill the Mayor of Lizartza Regina Otaola during the raising of the Spanish, Basque and local flags in September 2007. According to the sentence Olano shouted vas a morir (you are going to die) at the Mayor.
However, he was arrested yesterday in Lizartza on suspicion of being involved in the transport of explosives for the terrorist group ETA.
