Tour operator's special brochure on Bilbao and surroundings

US tour operator Tourcrafters, a travel company based in Libertyville (Illinois), has incorporated the city of Bilbao and some other interesting places nearby to its catalogue of special offers in Europe.

From 915 dollars, the promotional brochure proposes paying a call on the urban centre and the metropolis, especially to see the Bizkaia bridge, or the hanging structure linking Getxo and Portugalete which is part of the World Heritage. Nevertheless, the tour also includes a excursion to the municipality of Haro to enjoy wine tasting in La Rioja region.

The offer does not forget the possibility of enjoying Basque food and the fact that locals don't have to sit at a table to eat, something that the visitor can check through the ritual known as txikiteo, or going from bar to bar drinking txikitos (small glasses of wine) or zuritos (the same of beer) accompanied by the partaking of tempting hors d'oeuvres, known as pintxos.
