Hundreds of people, EITB workers and citizens gathered for 15 minutes before the Basque public Internet, radio and television station's building in order to reject Thursday's attack at the communication group's headquarters. The EITB works council, supported by the management of the company, had organized the meeting the day before.

Basque representatives and workers from other media like newspapers DEIA and El Mundo or Antena 3 Television, which are housed in the same building, also attended the act.
