Berri Txarrak to record new album with Steve Albini

Basque rock band Berri Txarrak will record their new album with Steve Albini at Electrical Audio (Chicago, IL, USA).

Steve Albini is one of the most important sound engineers within the independent rock scene (he has worked with bands like Nirvana, PJ Harvey, Neurosis, Iggy & The Stooges, Pixies...). Berri Txarrak (Bad News) will enter the studio in April 2009, to record their 6th studio album. There is no releasing date at this moment.

The band will also start a blog in their myspace website www.myspace.com/berritxarrak , where they'll write about the recording progress of this anticipated album.
