Bilbao hosts Euro Blogs Awards, the "Internet Eurovision", as part of nonick

A 12-member jury will choose the best on-line diaries in 12 different languages - the most spoken around the globe, not forgetting Basque!

Internet users are currently deciding the results of the preliminary round via www.euroblogawards.com. The ones that reach the final will be voted in a ceremony during which results will be unveiled by means of video-introductions, similar to the Eurovision Festival live connections, in every country capital.

The awards ceremony can be watched live on nonick from 12.00am on April 24. nonick is an event jointly organised by eitb.com and SPRI with the collaboration of Alianzo that will also be hosting a Startups contest and several workshops on video, television and internet. Users can vote for the best projects on www.nonickconference.com.
