eitb.com infographics awarded at ÑH contest

The contest ÑH The best of newspaper design in Spain and Portugal 2009, organised by the Spanish branch of the Society for News Design or SND and the Portuguese newspaper i, awarded several eitb.com infographics which were published on hiru.com. Other computer graphics awarded were the works on the AP-1 highway for the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, which was focused on the new section between the municipalities of Eibar and Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The sixth edition of the award ceremony took place in Lisbon, Portugal, where the jury highlighted the quality of the eitb.com infographics on Basque rural sports, Basque traditional instruments and ancient Roman roads in Euskal Herria. These works were carried out by the team of graphic designers of eitb.com and the companies 90 Grados and Visualiza.

The Education Department of the Basque Government, with the support of eitb.com, holds a clear commitment with computer graphics and has published a dozen works that have achieved international recognition and several awards including the Silver Medal for the work The Pyramids of Egypt.
