Caja Laboral managed a much-fought-for victory against CB Granada on Wednesday night, assuring not only their place in second position in the classification table but also that they end the year on an undefeated run. The match was close and exciting, finally won thanks to the superior quality of play and clear decisions taken by the away team, meaning the Andalusians will almost definitely lose out on qualifying for this year's King’s Cup.

The three-way formation of Splitter, English and San Emeterio (who won 51 points and 20 rebounds between them) formed the base on which Caja Laboral assured their victory.

Match data:

79-CB Granada (20+23+17+19): Gianella (2), Hunter (18), Stefansson (10) Ingles (26), Hendrix (10) - starting quintet - Rannikko (-), Jasen (6), Gutierrez (7).

85-Caja Laboral (18+18+27+22): Singletary (2), San Emeterio 15), English (15), Teletovic (13), Splitter (21) - starting quintet - Eliyahu (4), Herrmann (2), Huertas (8), Barac (-), Ribas (5).
